Naia Fiji Livebaoard

Fiji is one of the healthiest and most diverse diving regions on this planet. From massive manta and sharks to the smallest macro life hidden on lavish coral reefs, Fiji is famed for its pristine world underwater. Nai'a sets a new standard of comfort and safety in liveaboard diving in Fiji. This team pioneered liveaboard diving in Fiji. The crew are world famous for their dedicated service and can do attitude. Add to this the isolation of your itinerary through Lomaiviti, Namena and Bligh Water and you have trip of the lifetime - your own private, pristine Fiji awaits!

Nai'a sleeps only 18 dives across 9 cabins. All are en suite and larger than you would expect to find on a liveaboard, with bags of storage. The decor is bright, modern and airy. 3 cabins can be arranged as either a double or twin, 2 have a kind double with bunk above, 2 king bedded doubles and a further 2 are twin bedded. Please do remember to ask at the time of booking if you have a cabin preference.

From the moment you step on board Nai'a, prepare to be amazed! The dive platform is vast, with plenty of space for loading and unloading of the RIBS - no need to jostle along side fellow divers on this boat! The 2 RIBS are fast, stable and rigid. The ladders to make entries simple. At the end of your dive you will speed back to Nai'a where warm brownies and hot towels are waiting for you. There is a dedicated camera room, with fresh water tanks, charging stations and an air gun. There is a further charging station inside the saloon. The generous dive deck itself is between the camera room and saloon. The saloon is one of the most eye catching areas on Nai'a. It has been designed using traditional timbers, with all your creature comforts. Meals are served here. Relax between dives with a good book or DVD or head up to catch some rays the sun deck.

This was truly a trip of a lifetime!! It surpassed even my greatest expectations. The diving was stupendous because of the variety of fish and coral, as well as the willingness of the dive guides to find the little critters that were specific to each site. The health and sheer biomass of both "flora and fauna"

My husband and I have wanted to dive on the Nai'a for years, and when we finally were able to, it met and exceeded all our expectations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Location

Fiji is in the South Pacific Ocean, east of Vanuata and west of Tonga. It is made up of some 322 islands, of which only a third or so are inhabited! The main arrival point for all travllers is Nadi, with the city of Suva being the other large focal point on the main island Viti Levu. Thanks to the road network around Viti Levu and the domestic flights linking the other islands, it is relatively easy to get around Fiji, visiting several points in a single trip. You can even travel by boat around islands that have no roads!

Weather and Climate

Fiji has a tropical climate, and as such, the weather really can change quickly! On the surface, the cool trade winds over our summer months make it a popular time of year to visit. However, this is typically when the water is coolest (23-26C). As such, many divers prefer Fiji over our winter months (when you have higher chances of rainfall), when the viz is better and there tends to be a bit more big fish life. Typical water temps Dec-Mar are 27-30C
