The Lembeh Resort is a boutique-style diver’s retreat located on Lembeh Island itself, at the heart of one of North Sulawesi’s most celebrated dive regions. Life here revolves around the underwater world, with the resort especially popular amongst underwater photographers and macro enthusiasts. From world-famous muck and critter diving to blackwater encounters, bonfire dives and surprisingly vibrant wide-angle opportunities, Lembeh Resort delivers one of the most rewarding diving experiences in Indonesia. Diving in the Lembeh Strait is truly second to none.

There are three accommodation categories at Lembeh Resort: six Garden View Rooms, thirteen Premium Cottages and the exclusive Cliffside Villa. All rooms feature air conditioning, ensuite bathrooms with open-air showers, king-size double or twin beds, tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, water dispenser and electronic safe. The thirteen Premium Cottages are either tucked into the hillside overlooking the bay or positioned close to the pool area, each offering upgraded furnishings and spectacular sunset sea views.
The Garden View Rooms are set amongst the resort’s tropical gardens close to the dive centre. Smaller than the cottages and sharing a veranda, they are a comfortable and convenient choice, particularly for solo travellers.
For the ultimate stay, the Cliffside Villa enjoys the finest position in the resort, with breathtaking views across the Lembeh Strait. Featuring a spacious bedroom, lounge area, private pool and terrace, together with personalised room service and dedicated butler service, it offers a truly indulgent retreat between dives.

In 2026 the team proudly unveiled their brand-new purpose-built dive centre, perfectly positioned on the waterfront beside the boats, camera room and rinse facilities. Designed with photographers and serious divers in mind, the centre offers dedicated storage space for every guest, with ample room for equipment preparation and drying. Warm showers and changing facilities ensure comfort throughout the day. Alongside the dive centre is the Backscatter authorised photo centre, unique within Lembeh and a major attraction for underwater photographers. Resident photo professionals are always on hand, while an extensive range of equipment is available to rent. Whether you are testing new gear or replacing equipment during your stay, expert support is never far away.

When you are not underwater, Lembeh Resort is the perfect place to relax and soak up the peaceful atmosphere. Enjoy a chilled drink at the rooftop bar as the sun sets over the bay, or savour a delicious mix of local and international cuisine in the restaurant, with all meals included within your holiday package. Fresh pastries and homemade breads are served at breakfast, buffet lunches offer plenty of choice, and evenings feature relaxed à la carte dining in a beautiful tropical setting.

Lembeh Resort also warmly welcomes non-divers and snorkellers, with plenty to enjoy away from the dive boats. The spa was completely rebuilt in 2025 and now features two treatment rooms with dual massage beds for couples’ treatments, ensuite shower facilities, and a separate manicure and pedicure area overlooking a tranquil indoor pond. Beyond the resort, guests can explore the island itself or visit nearby Tangkoko National Park to discover North Sulawesi’s fascinating wildlife. Above and below the water, Lembeh Resort promises an unforgettable Indonesian dive holiday.

Combining the dramatic walls of Bunaken with the extraordinary critter diving of Lembeh creates an exceptional twin-centre itinerary, and Siladen Resort is the perfect complement to a stay at Lembeh Resort. Guests can even enjoy a boat transfer with diving between the two locations, avoiding a lengthy overland journey whilst experiencing the remarkable transition between Lembeh’s rich muck diving habitats and the spectacular reef walls and marine life of Bunaken.

Enter a world underwater filled with Mimic Octopus, flamboyant Cuttlefish, hundreds of nudibranchs, every kind of Frogfish and Pygmy Seahorses... to name but a few of the special sightings. A typical dive day at Lembeh Resort includes 3 boat dives, returning back to the resort after each dive or for lunch. You are sped to your dive sites in one of the 5 custom built dive boats. The dive center also arranges Madarin dives and night dives as 4th dive of the day. Blackwater, Bonfire and fluo dives are also available. Or why not jump in and discover the house reef for yourself.
